Mikel Azpiroz at Singulive The Hall

The outstanding pianist Mikel Azpiroz is recognized for his impressive technique and ability to take listeners on a journey through his notes. Azpiroz recorded his latest work, "Islak," in San Sebastian during three days in January 2020, at Mamusik studio, a label he created in 2006 to release his solo work and with Elkano Browning Cream.

The Donostiarra musician started his career on the piano at six years old, and quickly, his classical music studies at the conservatory turned into a passion for jazz and blues. Although he graduated in industrial engineering, he never abandoned his love for music and has dedicated himself to developing his career as a musician, composer, and producer in various projects both solo and collaborations with artists such as The Waifs, Duncan Dhu, Travellin' Brothers, Jabier Muguruza, and Elena Setién.
