Singulive and Radio 3 together in VR

Having pioneered the use of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, multi-format production or Dolby Atmos surround sound for live music, Radio 3 is now presenting a series of special "Radio 3 Concerts" for the Metaverse, in a new Virtual Reality experience which is open and available, free of charge, for all audiences through Singulive.

Concerts can be viewed in 3D using Meta Quest 2 VR glasses as well as 2D, on Android devices through the Singulive app, available on Oculus and Google Play stores. Versions for other platforms and systems will be available shortly. Access to the application is free, and it includes a novel guest mode feature which allows users to enjoy the content without having to make any prior registration or give personal data; an open door to witness all the news of La Sala de Radio 3 feeling the sensation of being live in the studio.

In this pioneering experience, four Radio 3 concerts have been recorded, starting with Carolina Durante at a perception that seems to increase its energy in an audiovisual concept providing a new way of "attending" a concert, like all of hers, unique and unforgettable.  In the coming Wednesdays we will add other concerts with leading groups of the Spanish music scene who want, like Radio 3, leave their mark on the Metaverse.  Attending a concert from the studio is an increasingly true reality.

This novel premiere allows Radio 3 to support Culture, technological transformation, and Spanish business and technological initiatives without overlooking its role as a public service, bringing content to where the public is, be it conventional channels or those that are still being defined and created, such as the Metaverse.

This initiative, one of the first of its kind and with this quality in the European and national environment, has been carried out with the participation of staff from Radio3, Innovation, Production and Technical Resources, among other departments, and demonstrates, once again, the will and the creative and innovative capacity of RTVE's staff."
